Slayers 2 Progression: Level 1 to Final Selection & Crow Quests
Start with Krue’s bandit quests, move to Tom’s bears, complete Kazu’s delivery chain for Chaka, then progress toward level 45 and Final Selection. Begin breathing training at level 25; after the trial, equip your crow to access its missions.

A practical leveling route
The ranges below are a suggested farming order. A suggested handoff level is not a requirement to stay in that area: repeat a quest you can finish consistently, and read each quest’s own level requirement before changing targets.

Do Kazu’s delivery before the Chaka handoff
In the starter village, speak to Kazu and accept the note delivery. Follow the delivery markers from the nearby recipient to the next destination, finishing the chain at Chaka. This is the village step that opens the later quest route.
When you reach level 26, return to Chaka for the subordinate objective. At level 34, add the Kaiden boss quest if you can complete it reliably. Set a nearby spawn point before moving your farming loop so defeats do not send you back across the map.
Prepare breathing at level 25
Speak to the trainer for the breathing style you want once you reach level 25. Read the trainer’s money, material and training objectives before spending your saved cash elsewhere. The style’s quest chain and its skills are separate parts of the process.
Demon Horns and Beast Cores appear in the launch training routes. Check the requested quantity for your own trainer rather than treating one style’s fee or materials as a universal requirement. After finishing training, open Skill Tree and inspect the breathing tab to unlock the skills you intend to use.
Choose a small set of moves you can use consistently while blocking, repositioning and managing stamina. A newly unlocked style is not automatically a finished combat setup.
Turn level 45 into a prepared trial attempt
Final Selection is a sequence of collection, combat, rescue and obstacle objectives. Bring healing supplies, leave money available for a bandage purchase and practice double jump before joining.
Breathing skills make the fights easier; they are preparation advice here, not an additional entry condition. Once inside, use the active quest marker and objective counter to avoid defeating the wrong enemy or leaving before a hand-in registers.
After Final Selection: equip the crow
Open your inventory after completing the trial and equip the crow. Select the quests it offers when it arrives. Merely finishing the trial is not the same as having the crow equipped.
Continue available Wagwan quests between crow missions. His level-40 and level-50 objectives belong to different progression points, so choose the one your current level allows. Keep improving the breathing skills and equipment you actually use instead of restarting the entire route for an optional drop.
The trial also provides a Crude Iron Ingot for forging. Bring it to Yagane in Hidden Mist Village if you want to craft a katana; compare the result with your current weapon before changing your setup.
If the next step will not start
