Set up mobile controls before fighting

Mobile players can change button sizes in settings. Make the controls you use together easy to reach, then test movement and attacks in a safe area before beginning a quest fight.

The mobile shift-lock toggle is at the top right of the screen. Test both states while moving around a target so you know how the camera behaves before committing to a combat sequence.

Adjust aim assist on mobile and console

Mobile and console players can edit aim-assist sensitivity in settings. Change one setting at a time and test it against a moving target; a comfortable value depends on your input device and how you aim.

If the camera correction feels too abrupt, reduce the setting and test again. Keep the value that lets you track intentionally rather than simply choosing the highest available number.

Find the right skill-tree tab

Press M on PC and open Skill Tree. Weapon, fighting-style, clan, breathing and other ability categories have separate tabs. If a skill seems missing, inspect the category tabs before assuming the unlock failed.

A clan’s description and the place where you spend skill points are different screens. Read the clan benefits during customization, then look for its unlockable skills in the skill tree.

A short pre-quest check

1. Open and close the menu so you can return to combat without searching for the controls.
2. Check your selected weapon in the inventory.
3. Practice moving, blocking and repositioning away from a target.
4. On mobile, adjust crowded buttons and test the shift-lock state you prefer.
5. Return to the quest giver and accept the objective before farming the enemies.
