Slayers 2 Water Breathing: Trainer & Training Steps

Learn Water Breathing from Water Trainer Urokodaki. His training has six ordered tasks: Parkour Dungeon, Push ups, Boulder Push, Aim Training, five Underwater Rocks, and the Water Trainee fight. Finish each task before starting the next.

Find Urokodaki and prepare for training

Start breathing preparation at level 25. Urokodaki is inside a wooden building near the Mother Bear area. Check the interaction name Water Trainer Urokodaki before spending resources; a nearby combat NPC is not the training interaction.

Keep at least 5,000 Wen available for the trainer. Save your Demon Horns and inspect his current material request before turning them in. This money is separate from your starter weapon budget.

Talk to the trainer again after meeting his requirements. The Water Breathing Training objective should appear with a six-part counter. Use that objective to track your progress rather than assuming that the initial conversation grants usable combat skills.

Complete the six tasks in order

The later tasks display locks and name the preceding task you must finish. A locked activity usually means the previous objective has not registered yet.

OrderTaskCompletion target
1Parkour DungeonFinish one course.
2Push upsComplete one training activity.
3Boulder PushComplete one training activity.
4Aim TrainingComplete one training activity.
5Underwater RocksCollect five quest rocks.
6Defeat the Water TraineeWin one trainee encounter.

Parkour: line up the next landing

The course crosses separated stone platforms and narrow ledges. Turn the camera toward your destination before leaving a platform so you can judge the landing instead of correcting blindly in the air.

On each safe platform, stop drifting, look at the next gap and jump deliberately. Save your movement adjustments for a clear landing rather than rushing several gaps at once.

After finishing, check that Parkour Dungeon shows 1/1 and Push ups becomes the active objective. The parkour step alone does not complete Water Breathing training.

Push ups, Boulder Push and Aim Training

The push-up station has a Train interaction on a red mat. Use T on PC to interact, then follow the activity prompts until the quest counter changes.

Continue to Boulder Push, then Aim Training. Complete the active exercise before moving to the next marker. If a later task is still locked, check the previous row in your quest log first.

Training activities and normal combat are separate interactions. Standing at the station or using an attack beside it does not replace starting the activity through its prompt.

Find five underwater Sea Crystals

The quest calls this step Underwater Rocks, while the blue pickup displays Sea Crystal. Look for the glowing blue objects on underwater rock ledges and use the Pick Up interaction.

Begin your search along the shallower ledges rather than swimming straight to the deepest bottom. Move close enough for the item name to appear, then interact and check that the objective counter increases.

You need five pickups for this step. At 4/5, keep searching for the remaining crystal; the Water Trainee objective stays locked until the rock collection is complete.

Finish the Water Trainee encounter

Once Underwater Rocks reaches 5/5, follow the newly active Water Trainee objective and complete the fight. Check the training objective after the encounter instead of leaving as soon as the enemy falls.

Prepare for this as a sword fight with your current abilities. Do not build a strategy around Water Breathing moves that you are still trying to unlock. Recover and prepare your equipment before starting if the collection route left you low on health.

Check the skill tree after training

Open the skill tree and inspect the Water Breathing branch. Water Surface Slash is one of its skills. Training completion, individual skill unlocks and having a usable weapon equipped are separate checks.

If a move will not activate, first check its node and requirements, then your equipped katana and the on-screen restriction. Do not assume every starter sword or every dropped sword supports the ability.

Use the general progression route to continue toward Final Selection. Keep leveling and prepare for its collection, movement and combat objectives after finishing your breathing training.
