Slayers 2 Katana Forging: Crude Iron Ingot & Yagane
After Final Selection, take your Crude Iron Ingot to Yagane in Hidden Mist Village and open his blade-forging menu. The menu offers Enryu, Shinkage and Tengoku Katana patterns. Tengoku Katana requires one Crude Iron Ingot and shows a Free crafting fee.

Get the Crude Iron Ingot after Final Selection
The Crude Iron Ingot belongs to the post-Final-Selection reward route. Finish the trial and its reward interaction with The Sisters, then check your inventory for the ingot before traveling to the smith. The Slayer uniform and crow are other parts of this progression handoff.
Use the item name to identify it: Crude Iron Ingot is the material for this crafting step. Reaching level 45 or entering the trial alone does not complete the reward route. If you are still working through objectives, finish the active trial task first.
Visit Yagane in Hidden Mist Village
Go to Hidden Mist Village and speak to Yagane at his forge. Choose the blade-forging dialogue to open the recipe list. This is a crafting interaction with the smith, separate from buying your first sword at the beginner shop.
- Check that Crude Iron Ingot is in your inventory before leaving for Hidden Mist Village.
- Find Yagane and choose the option to forge a blade.
- Select a named katana pattern from the recipe list so its material panel appears.
- For Tengoku Katana, check that the Crude Iron Ingot counter reads 1/1 and that the fee reads Free.
- Press Craft, then confirm the new katana notification and find the weapon in your inventory.
Enryu, Shinkage and Tengoku: choose a pattern
Yagane lists Enryu Katana, Shinkage Katana and Tengoku Katana as separate patterns. Open the pattern you want before committing the material; the recipe panel is where you check what that particular craft will consume.
For a direct route using the trial reward, select Tengoku Katana and match the recipe below. If you already have a sword you like, compare the new weapon with your equipped weapon before replacing it. Crafting a blade is an equipment choice, not a reason to stop doing your available crow missions.

Equip the blade and continue the Slayer route
Open your inventory after crafting and select the katana you intend to use. A new-item notification confirms receipt; check your equipped weapon before returning to combat so you do not continue fighting with the old sword by accident.
Also equip the crow from your inventory to access crow missions. Forging uses the material reward, while the crow opens the next mission loop. Keep those two post-trial tasks separate when deciding what to do next.
If forging does not work
